The move itself went incredibly smoothly.

Richard and Luis transferred everything to their van quickly

and with no problems whatsoever.

In fact, they took the initiative and re-packed my son George's weights to make

them easier to carry.

I wasn't at the destination but George and our new "Landlady", who is also a

personal friend, were very impressed by the way they unloaded everything and

their friendly attitude.

Both deserve a massive thank you, as does Millie in the office who arranged everything.

She explained every step to me very clearly when the booking was made and

was a delight to deal with.

(There was a late change to the size of the load made on Saturday.

I'm not sure what the lady's name was who I spoke to, but she was absolutely

brilliant and there were no hiccups come the Monday.)

Thoroughly recommended.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: £342

Van turned up to deliver furniture- it wasn't on the van. Delivery men were excellent- polite and apologetic. They told us to contact the office and they would as well. On phoning we were told Matt, whom was the person in charge, was on a call and would call us back after he had been told about the situation. An hour later no call. On calling back we were told he was in a meeting and would call in 20 minutes. 40 minutes later no call. On calling back we wefe cut off, intentionally? Matt then called. He had no idea what we were talking about, was very blunt and said he would call back promptly. 40 minutes later he called, and said he could do nothing and it would be delivered next week and we would have to take another day off of work. When told we had sold our furniture and taken a day off of work he repeated he could do nothing. On asking to speak to his boss he said he was in charge and the boss was on holiday. He then said he would see what he could do. Calling back he said he had spoke to the boss, who was now self isolating- Matt had obviously forgotten he told me he was on holiday- and that nothing could be done. He said we were going round in circles and put the phone down!!

My wife and I moved from Wandsworth to Fulham and used a comapny called White Van Gentlemen - they are efficient, professional and extremely pleasant to deal with.  Never have I come across a more friendly bunch of movers.  Thank you and have already recommended you to three mates!  I got one of the surveyors over to quote on a Monday as we needed to move two weeks later.  Received the quote very quickly giving me some different options to go with.  I had the choice of either a full packing service which was going to be more expensive and then a cheap option which was just the man power.  Maybe looking back I should have gone for the full packing as it take s along time!!  Thank you again.

These guys are really good. Moved house a few years back and had a completely different experience to this move. The guys from White Van Gentlemen are just so attentive. They went the extra mile, nothing was too much trouble. For the cost of the move it was amazing value to be honest.

Dan the surveyor was charming and the rest of the office team were really helpful as I had so many questions, given my previous experience with another company.

Five stars, 10 out of 10. I won't ever move with another firm. WVG are the best!

The movers themselves were absolutely excellent and a pleasure to deal with. The office attempted to overbill us by a considerable margin, both for packing up and going into storage (e.g. charging us for new boxes rather than used; charging us for eight mattress bags, five of which were wholly imaginary), and six weeks later, when they moved us in, asking for a figure considerably higher than that quoted in writing by their representative. On both occasions, the office was unapologetic, grudgingly responsive, and generally behaved as if they were making a generous compromise rather than addressing their error. It added a dreadful amount of stress to our moving experience, which unfortunately could not be entirely offset by the excellence of their actual furniture movers.
